Type ES (street performance)

Dixcel Type ES is an entry-level street performance pad that gives sharper, more consistent stopping than a standard replacement pad without a big jump in cost.

• Non-asbestos organic friction material
• Working temperature range of 0 to 600°C
• Friction coefficient around 0.35 average (0.34 to 0.48) in Dixcel fade testing
• Good fade resistance and predictable pedal feel for spirited road driving
• Pre-scorched surface to make bedding in quicker and easier
• Wear sensor provision and anti-noise shim fitted where the original car used sensors
• Works with any Dixcel rotor

Type M (low dust street)

Dixcel Type M is a low-dust street pad designed to keep wheels clean while still delivering confident, smooth braking for daily driving.

• Copper-free non-asbestos organic compound
• Working temperature range of 0 to 500°C
• Friction coefficient around 0.40 average (0.39 to 0.52) in Dixcel fade testing
• Much lower brake dust than a typical performance pad
• Smooth, progressive bite with stable friction
• Gentle on rotors to help extend disc life
• Works with any Dixcel rotor
• Street use only, not intended for track days (see Type Z for circuit work)

Type Z (street and track)

Dixcel Type Z is a high-end all-rounder that covers everything from daily driving to circuit days, with strong initial bite from cold and excellent fade resistance when hot.

• Graphite metallic friction material
• Working temperature range of 0 to 850°C
• Friction coefficient around 0.57 average (0.50 to 0.67) in Dixcel fade testing
• Strong cold bite for the street and stable output at high temperature on track
• Well suited to cars running high-performance radial tyres
• Works with any Dixcel rotor
